Fiesta Rentals Terms and Conditions of Hire.
All equipment on hire remains the property of Fiesta Rentals, hereinafter referred to as the Owner.
Rates and Times.
All hire prices quoted are for 1 night hire (Saturday to Monday and public holidays are included in this rate), with the exception of cold room hire.
If you require equipment for a longer period, please advise at time of booking and rate will be adjusted accordingly.
Pricing is for time hired, whether equipment is used or not. Any items not returned when due back will be charged as missing or broken (at full replacement cost).
Equipment hired for weekends is to be collected Friday between 12pm and 3pm, then returned Monday between 8am and 11am (unless pre-arranged otherwise) Pickups and returns outside these times will incur additional charges/late fees.
Business hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. The loading dock will close 30 minutes prior to closing.
Deliveries outside these hours will incur an out of hours charge.
Booking Fees and Cancellations.
A booking fee- 20% of your total booking is required to secure all bookings. Please email advice of payment once made to bookings@fiestarentals.com.au.
The balance/remainder is to be paid IN FULL 7 days prior to delivery or pickup date, this is to allow time for direct deposits to clear into account. No equipment will leave Fiesta without payment being made in full.
Cancellations of Bookings within 14 days prior to hire start date will forfeit the booking fee paid.
Changes made to bookings after this time may incur a surcharge.
A minimum of $500 booking fee will be retained on any bookings over $2000 if cancelled within 90 days of event.
Cancellations within 48 hours prior to booking date will be charged at full price.
All cancellations are required in email to bookings@fiestarentals.com.au.
Delivery and Pickup Service.
Delivery and pickup service of hire equipment is available between 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
You can ask to schedule for either Morning (8am-12pm), or Afternoon (12pm-3pm) delivery times.
We aim to deliver during your preferred morning or afternoon delivery window, however sometimes circumstances will make this difficult. To make things easier, you can request to have the office call you when the driver is about to depart Fiesta. Please do this prior to delivery day.
Delivery cost is to a street level location with vehicle access within 5metres. Please advise at time of booking if equipment will be required to be carried upstairs, or to the rear of a building or further than 5metres.
Charges vary depending on distance from Fiesta’s depot, extra cartage, or out of hours requirements.
In the event of vehicle access being unavailable due to weather or other conditions either at delivery or pickup, Fiesta Rentals reserves the right to charge relevant recovery costs if manual handling is required.
Customer Collection and Returns.
Customers are welcome to collect hire equipment (with some exceptions) from Fiesta. We are located at 6 Victoria Street, Mackay. Please take note of pickup and return times specific to your booking. Please check the suitability of your vehicle for items to be collected and ensure you have and can use your own ties down straps to secure your load as per Qld law.
Cleaning and Condition of Hired Equipment.

Before unpacking your hire equipment, please read the following-
Your hire equipment has been packed to ensure it arrives to you hygienic and ready for use. We use packing materials to pack things in a way to reduce the risk of breakages.
We kindly ask that after use, you clean your hire equipment- glassware, plateware, cutlery, cooking equipment, and any excess dirt or stains on furniture that happened during your hire. Please repack equipment the same way it came to you using the packing materials provided, to reduce the risk of breakages. All linen should be shaken out, free of refuse, dry and placed in laundry bags provided.
Delivered equipment is to be stacked and left in the same place for collection.
Hirer’s Responsibilities.
Responsibility for all equipment remains with the hirer/customer from delivery until pickup, or from the time equipment leaves the dock, until returned.
The hirer agrees to pay for any goods lost, damaged, stolen or not returned at current replacement cost. Late fees apply for any equipment not returned during time specified on the booking.
Ensure all equipment is secured and protected from the weather. Repairs fees will be charged for any damage to equipment from being left outside.
All equipment (including lights and electrical equipment) is cleaned, counted and checked prior to leaving Fiesta’s premises, subsequent cleaning is the responsibility of the hirer. Remember, hire equipment can be likened to used furniture. Fiesta endeavours to minimize damage and wear and tear to all our equipment, but equipment is unlikely to be in pristine condition.
We do not guarantee the equipment’s fitness for any particular purpose, other than it’s intended purpose and correct usage, nor does the owner effect any insurance of any hired equipment. This is the responsibility of the hirer.
